Every now and then I get writer’s block and cannot think of a good blog topic. Most of the time I blame on it being tired as the Tech Baby’s recent sleep patterns have been as irregular as the New England weather. In an attempt to overcome my stifled brain, I decided to peruse some sports and news web sites this evening. Then, I read this…
An investigation into the sale of black-market kidneys and fake Gucci handbags evolved into a sweeping probe of political corruption in New Jersey, ensnaring more than 40 people Thursday, including three mayors, two state lawmakers and several rabbis. (You can find the rest of the story here.)
…writer’s block solved. I do not know where to start with the bullets.
- Black-market kidneys? Is this because no one waiting for kidney wants one from a New Jersey resident?
- Fake Gucci handbags. Very benign, but were they using the bags to transport the kidneys? Somewhere Paris Hilton is appalled.
- Political corruption in New Jersey. Hmm, those words go together like ‘California bankruptcy’
- Three mayors, two state lawmakers, and several rabbis. (You should read that sentence with the Twelve Days of Christmas music playing in the background.)
- I am well aware that none of these bullets are technology related. But, I am guessing there will probably be some level of electronic discovery as these cases progress. I mean, how can you sell a kidney for fake Gucci bags without spamming someone?
